This is Dr Gowri from Tamilnadu, India. I take immense pleasure and honor in introducing myself as a successful alumnus of Texila American University (TAU), the best medical university to achieve excellence in a medical career. I completed my MD degree with TAU in the 2013–2018 batch.
Looking back, it was indeed an enthralling experience as a medical student at TAU. I should say that my ambition of becoming a doctor was provoked during those days, and that is where I met the most influential people in my life so far.
Confidence, endurance, and the ability to rival, and beat the best are a few attributes that this esteemed medical university had taught me. Extremely talented faculties from various countries enlightened me with their unique way of teaching and skills. Also, TAU offered two years of clinical exposure at GPHC, which is Guyana’s largest hospital.
I cannot forget the diversity and enthusiastic environment I enjoyed there. And it is a real blessing for a student to access comprehensive clinical knowledge and skills, which is indeed a privilege even today.
After the successful completion of my MD program at TAU, I have cleared the screening exam (FMGE) in my native land, India. Besides, I am working as a house surgeon (medical intern) in SVRRGGH, Andhra Pradesh.
By choosing TAU in Guyana for my medical studies, I have made the right choice that has paved the way to achieve excellence in this medical career. TAU is the sole reason for what I am now. My heartfelt thanks to TAU, and I am indebted to this seamless medical university for helping me achieve what I wanted to become. I wish Texila American University the best in its journey of creating more humanitarian doctors.
