Rolling Admissions with March and September Intakes
TAU follows a rolling admissions process, allowing completed applications to be reviewed throughout the year as they are received. The College of Medicine currently communicates two annual intakes, in March and September. Applicants should submit early enough to complete document review, admission assessments, visa processing and enrolment requirements before their intended intake.
Intake dates and seat availability may change. Confirm the next available intake with the admissions team before making travel or financial arrangements.
What You Need to Apply
Prepare the following documents for the application review:
- Completed online application
- Colour copy of your passport
- Two passport-size photographs
- Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions
- Personal statement explaining your interest and relevant experience, up to 1,500 words
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- Two letters of recommendation, including at least one academic recommendation
- Applicable admission-test and interview requirements for the selected medical pathway
Important: Academic entry requirements vary by pathway and educational system. Applicants should review the official admissions-requirements page or request a country-specific eligibility assessment.
Strengthening your md program application is about demonstrating academic excellence alongside a holistic commitment to patient care. While test metrics matter, true medical leadership is forged through traits like compassion, resilience, and ethical judgment.
Through our flexible medical school rolling admissions cycle, we look for motivated candidates who showcase authentic communication skills during their virtual Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), proving they can shine far beyond standard test metrics.”

Entry Exams & The Interview Process
TMAT (or MCAT) and the MMI
Applicants must achieve a required score on the TMAT (or MCAT) and clear the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) to be considered for admission. Both are part of a broader evaluation process that looks at more than test scores alone the MMI is a series of short stations assessing communication, ethics, and readiness for medicine, giving applicants a chance to demonstrate strengths a single score can’t capture.
How does the Texila Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) work
- Station-Based Evaluation: A series of short, conversational stations assessing your ethics, empathy, and readiness.
- Holistic Review: If you have a tough moment at one station, you get a completely fresh start at the next one.
- A Focus on Communication: This structure allows motivated students to shine far beyond what a standardized test score shows.

No, the MCAT is not strictly mandatory for all applicants. While we fully accept MCAT scores for our US and Canadian tracks, many qualified students are admitted without an MCAT by completing the online Texila Medical Admissions Test (TMAT). Always confirm the specific exam pathways required for your regional background directly with your assigned admissions advisor.
The Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) is a modern evaluation method consisting of a series of short, station-based conversations. Instead of relying on a single, high-stakes traditional interview, the MMI assesses your real-world communication skills, medical ethics, and personal readiness for a healthcare career. It gives you a fresh start at each station so a single tough answer won’t ruin your application.
