I am Dr. Mehala Venkatesan Rathinam. We all aspire to achieve something in our life. However, we quit when we face some mishaps in our first step.
On my way to becoming a doctor, I faced a lot of hardships, as did every medical aspirant. When I could not secure a medical seat in India, I did not give up. I tried all the other opportunities to pursue a medical degree. I am very thankful to TAU and our respected faculty for the opportunity to pursue my dream and helping me complete my MD degree successfully. TAU’s Guyana campus is the best place for me because this is where I learned medical skills, gained impeccable clinical skills, earned good friends, and took betterclinical practice that offered me good colleagues and better exposure to live practice.
TAU had offered me a world-class medical education that helped me clear my Foreign Medical Graduates Examination(FMGE) and getthe license to work in India. I made the right choice by choosing TAU as my very decision brought me to the position I am now.
