Students of Texila American University College of Business Management received expert tips for planning and executing research projects, at a workshop held on the university’s Guyana campus.
The workshop held on January 29, 2022 was conducted by Mr. Rajesh Parmanan, who shared ideas on how to conduct academic research at the bachelor’s and master’s degree levels. He told the students how to document the research material. Some of the steps he suggested were: access valuable resources; use time management strategies to successfully complete the project.
Parmanan has served in leadership positions in the areas of marketing, logistics, quality management, retail, sales, customer service, and administration. He has almost two decades of experience at the clerical, supervisory, and management levels. Mr. Parmanan, who is a trained human resource management specialist, is a certified technical cargo surveyor and has worked in internal audits. He is ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor.
