TAU’s collaboration with a U.S.-based college broadens educational and career opportunities for students in the field of business.
GEORGETOWN, Guyana, May 31, 2021 – Texila American University (TAU) has launched a new global Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program in response to a growing demand for more trained professionals, both locally and abroad. The BBA program is the first partnership between a Guyanese and a U.S.-based university. The program will begin in September 2021.
TAU has collaborated with Monroe College’s School of Business and Accounting – a U.S.-based institution known for presenting high-quality and affordable programs to a diverse student body. Through the TAU-Monroe College partnership, students can enroll in a BBA program that offers access to world-class instruction and program content and the opportunity to study overseas.
“TAU’s partnership with Monroe College is proof of the growing importance of educational partnerships”, said TAU Founder and President, Mr. Saju Bhaskar. “By partnering with
international universities and offering programs like the BBA degree, TAU is doing its part to provide convenient access to high-quality educational offerings, developed by experts, at an
affordable cost.”
Under the partnership, students pursuing the BBA course will be able to complete the first two years of their program at TAU’s Providence Campus. Upon completion of the TAU Associate of Business Administration, students will have the option to transfer to Monroe’s New York campus to complete the last two years of their BBA studies.
To make the BBA program accessible to all students, Monroe and TAU have implemented a generous transfer policy. Students enrolled in TAU’s two-year Associate of Business
The administration program will have the opportunity to transfer up to 60 credits towards the Monroe BBA course. In addition, students transferring from TAU to Monroe will benefit from a $2500 scholarship per semester that will go towards their tuition.
The BBA program provides an excellent opportunity for students seeking career advancement in business and those on the path towards entrepreneurship. The BBA degree also offers students a clear pathway to pursuing studies in the United States.
The business administration curriculum is designed to instruct students on creating organizational value and providing leadership in all aspects of Business. The industry-relevant and real-world content students will benefit from through the Associates and Bachelor of Science degrees in Business will enable them to remain competitive in their field.
