Advice for Writing Your Personal Statement
Your personal statement is your chance to introduce yourself to the Admissions Committee. It should be under 1,500 words and should address: your academic history, your achievements, and why you wish to study medicine. Let your personality shine and be yourself in your statement. Avoid generic statements or writing what you think the Admissions Committee wants to read. Your statement should capture what is unique about you and tell the story of how your background would make you excel as a medical student.
