According to Ansel Adams, “A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense and is thereby a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety.” As part of the Student engagement activity, Texila American University (TAU) conducted an online photo competition on January 29th, 2021. The theme of the photo competition was “Nature.”
The competition saw a good turnout, and 43 submissions were received. A selection committee picked three winners out of those 43 submissions, and the winners were presented with various gifts. The winners of the online photo competition are as follows,
Deja Neymour
Deja Neymour of MD4 received first place. She was gifted meal vouchers from New thriving restaurant worth 10,000 GYD.
Jhoni Kay Williams
Jhoni Kay Williams of PM1 was awarded second place. The second place came with a voucher for a one-month gym membership with registration charges worth 8,000GYD.
Reanna Simpson
Reanna Simpson was awarded third prize and Massy Stores coupon worth 5,000 GYD.
