She also educates the participants on the factors influencing an online learning session, which has also been a popular topic of discussion in recent times: the educator’s/presenter’s appearance, voice modulation, their level of interactivity with the students, and their ability to manage distractions and re-center the students’ attention are discussed and highlighted.
She also highlights how children perceive things very differently and emphasize the need to be dynamic and creative. She educates the importance of employing Visual Auditory and Kinesthetic (VAK) properties to help engage the students.
To maintain the students’ interest and attention, the speaker shares tips and tricks with participants, which can be used to develop the art of storytelling and utilize the need for activities that may include the parents to provide a better learning experience.
Dr. Aparna also shares various online educational tools to effectively improve one’s teaching and, subsequently, learning experience. The session also contains demonstrations of various techniques previously discussed with participants to help viewers better understand their effectiveness in real-time.
