Trusting Your Medical Journey
Yes. Because Texila American University Guyana is accredited by CAAM-HP and ACCM and listed in WDOMS, its MD degree is recognized by the ECFMG. This allows graduates to take the USMLE and apply for residency (and eventually licensure) in all 50 U.S. states. (Participate in the US National Resident Matching Program (NRMP))
Texila’s MD program is designed to be fully compliant with the NMC (National Medical Commission) criteria. Indian graduates must pass the FMGE (or the upcoming NExT exam) to register and practice medicine in India.
Yes. Texila provides students the option to complete their clinical clerkships at affiliated teaching hospitals in the United States, providing them with essential “U.S. Clinical Experience” (USCE) required for residency applications.
Yes. USMLE preparation is integrated into the MD program. Texila provides inbuilt training, academic guidance, and access to resources such as Kaplan and Lecturio to help students prepare for Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
