TAUCOM confers the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree on its graduates and is designed specifically to prepare students from North America for residency and practice across the United States and Canada.

Canada

For Students From Canada

TAU’s MD program is recognized by the Medical Council of Canada (MCC), and our graduates are eligible to sit for the MCCQE Part 1 and Part 2 and to apply for postgraduate training through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS). The curriculum includes the same U.S.-based clinical rotations and licensing exam preparation available to all our North American students – giving Canadian graduates flexibility to pursue residency in Canada, the United States, or both.

Eligible Canadian students can receive OSAP-related guidance and explore other provincial loan programs, and benefit from tuition that is significantly lower than Canadian medical schools – a major advantage for Canadian applicants facing limited domestic seats and high costs at home.
