Significance of the White Coat Ceremony
It becomes important to bring every student to commemorate the White Coat Ceremony at the beginning of their medical education. Because this brings out an understanding and implication of their profession in the world's healthcare. During the ceremony, the delegations delivered speeches that inspired the new students to encompass their moralities in medical care.
White Coat Ceremony: A rite of passage
The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for the students entering the medical field. It is celebrated as a mark of the transformation from ordinary students into future medical professionals. Dr. Arnold P. Gold created this ceremony in 1993. A white coat is placed on each student's shoulders and a Hippocratic oath is recited. This signifies their entry into becoming the most important professional in the world.
An indication of sustaining humanity and compassion in the profession
The white coat ceremony which was organized by TAU brings out the innate passion of every student to reality. The commemoration of the significant white coats made them understand their role in empowering healthcare services. Each student took an oath that will make them valuable doctors with virtues of goodness in the future.
With anticipation to watch these new students of batch 2022, learn, grow, and transform into potential doctors with kindness, compassion, and responsibility, Texila American University wishes the batch of 2022 students a prosperous and enthusiastic year to attain excellence in medicine.
