Program Aim
The Bachelor of Public Health curriculum prepares students for careers in public health, as well as the protection, preservation, and promotion of the health of communities and populations. Public health professionals, therefore, need to be appropriately trained to respond to various community health problems. Through training and acquisition of relevant knowledge and skills in a multidisciplinary manner, public health professionals will understand how to identify and approach issues affecting populations, be able to develop appropriate strategies for resolving them and monitor their implementation. The student who graduates with a major in public health will be able to:

Upon successful completion of the courses in the public health program, the graduating students shall demonstrate:

- Trains students in individual fields of biological research with a focus on understanding, preventing, and treating diseases affecting large populations.
- Proficiency in understanding public health sector.
- Ability to use library and internet resources in researching public health and presenting their conclusions in a written and an oral report.
