Blood drive and Emergency Training Texila American University, in association with National Blood Transfusion Services and Red Cross Society, conducted a Blood drive and Emergency Based Training to all the Pre-Medical and Pre-Clinical students. The event was organized on 21st January 2020 at our Guyana campus. The Red Cross volunteers trained the students to handle the steps to be followed during an emergency. Also, they educated the students to provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which is used as a lifesaving technique to overcome emergencies. This camp was highly useful for the students, both in academics as well as to help someone in need, as it emphasized and trained the various procedures to be carried out by a person while there is an emergency.
