Texila American University (TAU) had the honor of hosting His Excellency Ernesto Torres Pereyra, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, and Mr. Joel Encanacion Bernabel, Counsellor of the Dominican Republic in the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
The purpose of the visit was to gain an overview of the university and its programs and to explore potential avenues for collaboration between TAU and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh Rajput, Chief Operating Officer, provided a detailed presentation on the university’s history, academic structure, and online education programs.
Dr. Bansal, Chief Academic Officer, presented an overview of the College of Medicine, including its accreditations, clinical training opportunities, and the diversity within the student body.
Mr. Bala, Director of Projects, elaborated on the university’s expansion plans, including the development of hostels and staff accommodations.
The delegates were given a guided tour of the university’s facilities, including laboratories, classrooms, the Library, and student amenities, allowing them to experience TAU’s academic and infrastructural strengths firsthand.
The visit was highly productive. The delegates expressed their appreciation for TAU’s facilities and programs. They showed keen interest in further discussions regarding potential collaborations between the university and the Dominican Republic.
TAU looks forward to continued engagement and future opportunities for academic and institutional partnerships.
