Texila American University, Guyana (TAU), recently organized an impactful outreach program at Camille’s Academy Diamond, marking another milestone in our commitment to community engagement and service.
During the outreach event, TAU faculty members and students collaborated with Camille’s Academy Diamond to provide essential health screenings, educational sessions, and interactive workshops aimed at promoting health awareness and well-being within the local community.
Our team strived to empower individuals with knowledge and resources to lead healthier lifestyles through various initiatives such as health check-ups, nutrition counselling, and hygiene education. Additionally, interactive sessions on topics like disease prevention, mental health awareness, and first aid training were conducted further to enrich the community’s understanding of key health issues.
The event also served as a platform for TAU students to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting, gaining valuable hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
