Texila American University, Guyana, has been honored with the Outstanding Green Business Award 2020 by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI).
GCCI has conducted its 131st Annual Awards Presentation & Gala Programme on January 28, 2021, at Park Rayne, Houston. During this grand event, TAU has been awarded the Outstanding Green Business Member Award for our contribution to and participation in the green initiatives in Guyana.
As a tradition of supporting its members, celebrating business excellence, and showcasing leadership, GCCI had conducted this annual event where remarkable individuals and businesses are recognized and awarded for their contributions to the business community and Guyana. Hon. Dr. Ashni K. Singh, Senior Minister, Office of the President, with Responsibility for Finance, had honored the occasion as the featured speaker.
Thanks to GCCI for recognizing TAU with this esteemed award, and it motivates us to do more for the community by all means!
